The 1870s-era Brown & McCutcheon building in Buffalo's Cobblestone District is at risk of demolition, and historic preservationists are moving on City Hall to protest.
Esmonde writes, "City officials acted as if the building was a run-down shack on a vacant lot, not a resource for downtown revival. It reminds me of a baby sitter who falls asleep at cribside.
