Jim Massey of East Pennsboro Township, Pennsylvania is unhappy about plans to build a new apartment complex in his neighborhood, so he's encouraging his neighbors to secede from East Pennsboro and join a nearby town.
From WGAL NEWS: "Massey's secession plan involves neighboring Wormleysburg Borough. He's hoping the borough will adopt his neighborhood, incorporate it into its borough and then nix the apartments."
Apparently Mr. Massey is serious, and has announced his plan to attend a Wormsleyburg City Council meeting and to propose they annex his neighborhood.
