Greener Buildings Mean Healthier Workers

A new study says that improved environmental quality in office building leads to reductions in "work hours affected by asthma, respiratory allergies, depression, and stress."

Andrew Price at GOOD says it is a little unclear why this is, whether it is improved air quality or that people like coming to work more in these improved office buildings:

"That said, we shouldn't be surprised that there are health benefits to better buildings. The real challenge is incorporating these findings into policy."

The research comes from researchers at Michigan State University.
