Steven Ribet reports that Shanghai has most of the world's tallest buildings, "...and many of them are clustered around two mega-tall towers in the new development area of Pudong."
"The Jinmao Tower was the third highest on earth when completed in 1998, although it has since been surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center next door, which is now the second tallest building in the world when measured from ground to roof."
