DuPage County, IL, unveiled its largest trails project in a decade to create 46 miles of uniterrupted regional bike and running trails.
"DuPage County unveiled a plan Monday to build 24 miles of bike and running paths that would link the county's southern corners, its biggest trail project in a decade... At an estimated cost of $7.6 million, the work calls for 19 short trails, some less than half a mile, connecting existing or proposed trails. Once all the work is completed, the county says, it would have 46 miles of uninterrupted regional trail."
