Looking at New York City's Bryant Park, this article argues that wireless internet access in public spaces and parks will likely increase.

The Forum, a component of the year-long Intelligent Cities Initiative, brought together researchers, design and planning professionals, public health experts, and representatives from all levels of government for a day of conversation focusing on the challenges and opportunities that information and communication technologies (ICT) pose for cities. "
