"Makepeace, which wants to develop its extensive cranberry-farming land holdings in Southeastern Massachusetts, hinted that its next step may be to propose three separate, more conventional single-family home subdivisions in each of the three towns. ""The Makepeace project - between 3,500 and 6,000 units of clustered housing, roughly 3 million square feet of commercial, retail, and office space, a resort hotel and conference center, and four golf courses - would have been the largest single development project ever in New England."
