"What most commuters want to know when you ask them what they think about the plan to build a new train station at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets is why Metro-North Railroad can't expand the parking lot at Harriman? The short answer is that it can...The long answer is that it doesn't want to...unaway growth in recent years has brought sprawl ? paralyzing traffic congestion, choking air pollution, relentless school construction, spiraling property taxes ? to southern Orange County and strained the ability of many communities to define and control their destiny. And now they're being asked to believe that a new train station, smack-dab in the middle of one of the Hudson Valley's most overburdened intersections, will not make a bad situation worse."
