The largest piece of undeveloped property in Louisville would be developed over the next 25 years under a plan that includes mixed use developments and green space.
The 450-acre project would contain estate homes, upscale apartments, stores, offices and hotels, attorneys for the farm's heirs said. The plan would be tied to new roads Mayor Dave Armstrong said he has been working on developing across Oxmoor since he was Jefferson County judge-executive in 1994. Armstrong called the plan "about the best compromise possible. . . . It will be a wonderful and spectacular campus that will blend green space with progress."
