Gimmicks in Hollywood are giving businesses new life. And while these trendy clubs are increasing foot-traffic, they are also increasing liquor violations. Boosters want to talk about the positive impact of the new clubs. But critics say that too many bars are opening too fast, that minors are being served and that servers are failing to cut off inebriated customers. Police say that they are handling the problems.
