"The Milwaukee metro area -- defined as Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha counties -- ranked eighth of 276 metro areas in terms of population density, according to a recent Demographics Daily report. The Milwaukee area has 942 people per square mile, or 1.5 people per acre. All but 20 metro areas have densities of less than 1 person per acre, according to the analysis of 2000 Census data."
