New York City dwellers are showing increased interest in countryside homes according to real estate agents.
"Real estate agents like Joan Lonergan, of Coldwell Banker Village Green Realty in Woodstock, say two- and three-bedroom houses bring $180,000 to $410,000. And more would sell, they said, if some owners were not waiting to see if prices will go up as a result of the attacks... From Westhampton to Woodstock, people are looking for escape routes -- or at least an escape into nature."
