"The Golden Gate Bridge Authority added two extra ferries between Marin County and San Francisco for this morning's commute, nearly doubling the number of passengers. About 2,850 people were transported in a three-hour period, compared with 1,500 for a normal Monday.Officials also reported a 6 percent increase in passengers on the Bay Area Rapid Transit trains carrying passengers from the East Bay to San Francisco."
