"A soaring, light-filled glass tower. A promenade lined with art galleries and cafes and studded with locally commissioned sculpture. Hundreds of apartments and condominiums filled with urban pioneers. Supermarkets, theaters, health clubs and child care centers to serve them.Those are the visions being offered for the site of the long-ago National Wax Museum, now a three-acre parking lot owned by the city but eventually, officials say, the cornerstone of a trendy new neighborhood."
