Massachusetts' Dirty Dozen

A Boston environmental group has published a non-scientific list of Massachusetts' "dirtiest dozen" firms.

"The list, created by the Toxics Action Center in Boston and based on nominations from state residents, is intended to build public pressure on polluters. The other 10 sites on the Dirty Dozen list are the Rivers Edge land development in Metheun, Brittany Dye in New Bedford, the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, the Orchard Park housing development demolition pile in Roxbury, Aggregate Industries in Swampscott, the Winchendon Landfill expansion, Cambridge Plating Co. in Belmont, R.J. Kelly in Burlington, the Ward Hill Neck Landfill in Haverhill, and Winning Farm in Lexington, Woburn, and Winchester."
