"Before we all go buzzing off on $3,000 Segways, take a look around at devices that already do essentially the same thing. As it turns out, there are a host of electric scooters already on the market that will zip you around town. No, they don't use gyroscopes to balance themselves, as Segway does. But if you can balance yourself on a bicycle, you can probably ride one of these electric scooters."
