An O.C. resident responded to L.A.'s request to shop downtown and stimulate the economy. She ended up lost in skid row, amidst trash, encountered a broken parking meter that ate her money, got a ticket for driving in an unmarked bus lane, and had an encounter with a crazy man. She vowed never to come to L.A. again. Enter Councilperson Jan Perry, at a meet and eat session, who sells L.A. and asks that we all just give L.A.'s downtown a chance.
