With the region's population expected to swell by 2 million extra residents over the next two decades, it's vital that action be taken now to rein in this growth and develop the region more efficiently.Going hand in hand with that problem is a looming transportation crisis, caused by the growing suburbs and a lack of investment in infrastructure."
