Cambridge, MD. is hoping that a new $155 million resort and subsequent development will boost the region's economy.

A $155 million resort that is expected to bolster the economy of this lower Eastern Shore city is nearing completion on a site once occupied by a mental hospital overlooking the Choptank River. The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, Spa and Marina is scheduled to open in March with 400 rooms, a golf course and a 150-slip marina. A subsequent development around the golf course is expected to add 800 houses and condominiums."
