Historic neighborhoods in downtown Phoenix fear the development of a new Cardinals football stadium.
"The downtown site is the only one that would require residents to move and homes to be torn down to make way for the stadium. It also is the only site adjacent to a densely populated neighborhood like Garfield, home to 8,000 residents.... But Trujillo and other residents who live in the Garfield Historic District, the area where the stadium's impact would be felt, fear the new sports arena would undermine years of efforts to revive some of downtown'soldest and most historic neighborhoods."
