With the departure of Julian Burke last September, the MTA lost a CEO who rectified years of financial mismanagement, effectively breathing life into an agency that was looked at, in some circles, as a dinosaur. With the entrance of Roger Snoble as the agency's new CEO, the Los Angeles County's transit provider is again evolving and has added a much-needed new component--a 21st Century transit vision. Metro Investment Report interviews Roger Snoble about his new vision for the agency and the components he will need to effectively bring Los Angeles past the bus vs. rail debate and into a more multi-modal agenda for transit.
