For American University's Eco-Comedy Film Competition, the DC-based comedy crew Dunk Your Bagel have produced a humorous take on a serious challenge facing cities across America: how to persuade residents to reduce their use of plastic bags.
"We've spent plenty of time debating the merits of D.C.'s three-year-old five-cent bag tax," , "but by all accounts it seems to be working: bag use is down, and environmental activists recently reported that they had seen a substantial decrease in the amount of bags found in one of the tributaries of the Anacostia River."
