From Claremont to Altadena, residents are fighting housing developments in in favor of trails, and parks. They want to retain the rural atmosphere. An Altadena coalition is saying that the developer is failing to deliver on pledges. These allegations have resulted in LA County Supervisor Antonovich calling for an audit of the La Vina project in his district. Supporters of keeping the area rural maintain that "the trails are integral to keeping this community together."
