As the chameleons of retail development, lifestyle centers are defined according to their environment. Among lenders, they are known as entertainment centers or hybrid malls; showcased to the local neighborhood for predevelopment approval, they become retail oases or urban villages.Defining the commonalities among lifestyle centers is easier. All enjoy a wealthy trade market: average household incomes of customers often run 250 percent of the national average.
