Two architecture students win design competition to improve a temporary structure at the famous Washington monument.

"Four judges agreed with Johnson and his design partner, Tenika Felder, both of Howard University, and awarded them first place Friday in a design competition to improve the looks of the temporary screening facility built by the National Park Service last year at the entrance to one of Washington's best-known icons. The monument, closed for renovation, is to reopen this month."
