With arresting infographics, architect Seth Goodman aims to expose the absurd parking requirements that can be found in cities across America.

"Architect Seth Goodman is on a mission to illustrate the absurdity of parking requirements," says Angie Schmitt. With a series of five infographics focused on parking requirements for residences, restaurants, offices, schools, and places of worship, Goodman intends "to demonstrate the prevalence, scale, and inconsistency of parking requirements across the United States for various land uses."
Goodman has completed three of the series thus far using information gathered from city websites. "Once he wraps up the five infographics, Goodman said he will move on to examining 'arguments for changing off-street parking minimums rather than continuing to document their prevalence.'"
