The 17 community meetings represent the first time Baltimore, Annapolis, and the region's five counties have come together in such a public way to explore the interactions between growth, transportation, economic development, social equity, and environmental protection at the regional level... "Using 3-D computer graphics, the planners will give participants virtual fly-bys through imaginary developments of different types - suburbs, mixed-use developments and redeveloped neighborhoods - so they can think about what they would like to see built in the next 30 years."
