A series of renderings asks the question: "What might it look like if tech campuses replaced their parking lots and provided all the necessary housing on-site?"
A series of renderings is available on a small website by First Cultural Industries, which makes a well-illustrated point about the sheer volume of employees working at corporate campuses in the Silicon Valley—especially given the low density housing model in the area that inspires many to live in San Francisco and Oakland.
Included in the renderings (helpfully, the page allows a download of each rendering's Skechup KMZ file) are imaginary places like "iTown" (with an average apartment size of 800 square feet) and "Facebook City" (which includes four 50-story high-rise towers).
