The “Daily Overview” website provides a compendium of high-altitude, overhead photography from around the world.

The Daily Overview site posts crisp, colorful images taken from above, inviting site visitors to “look down” at the places we live. From the page’s mission statement: “We’ve made a decision that the majority of the images we capture will focus on this unnatural world, shining a light on the areas where our human activity - for better or worse - has shaped the landscape.”

For an idea of the site’s beautiful offerings, the three of the site's most recent images looked down on Chicago’s Midway Airport, a tent city in Mina, Saudi Arabia, and deforestation of the Bolivian rainforest.
