"The biggest problem to redeveloping the area is the parking situation according to real estate developer Jim Glass and the rest of the Brady District ownersassociation. We cant create restaurants, nightlife, and have office professionals working down here if they cant park. The consensus of the group is if we were to create head-in angle parking, 45 degrees, all over the district, we could triple the number of parking spaces and we could do it for the cost of paint. To me thats a pretty good idea. The city's Traffic and Engineering [planners] didn't think it was such a good idea, however. "
