For the music aficionados: a recent article in Guardian Cities dug up the Google Street Views of the exact locations of iconic album covers, laying the album cover over the current condition.
Halley Docherty researched and photoshopped a fun gallery for the musically-inclined placemakers among us. The gallery includes Google Street View screen grabs with the original album cover art laid over the exact location that the photograph was captured.
Album covers include works by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Eminem, in London, New York, and Detroit, respectively, among many other bands and cities.
