National Public Radio's coverage of the economy provides an exclusive infographic comparing reported income to 'real income' adjusted numbers just released by the Bureau of Economic Affairs.
"For the first time, Americans looking to move or take a job anywhere in the country can compare inflation-adjusted incomes across states and metropolitan areas to better understand how...personal income may be affected by a job change or move." The good news, according to the BEA: On average real personal income across rose by 2.3% in 2012 across all cities sampled.
