The American Planning Association (APA) is seeking input for an update of the 2000 Planning for Sustainability Policy Guide.
"We want to hear what you think about sustainability and its role in planning," according to an APA website announcing the update. The APA is asking planners to "[read] the current guide and give us your feedback to help shape this important document."
The APA is collecting input on a MindMixer site that provides multiple ways to access and engage the process, including a feed of all comments posted since the site launched on September 26, 2014.
Also according to the APA site, "[a] full draft of the updated Policy Guide will be released for public comment in February 2015 and presented for adoption at the 2015 National Planning Conference in Seattle."
