Commuters In D.C. Opting To Drive

U.S. Census figures released last week indicate less people are riding transit to work each day.

Though ridership figures are up for most of the region, the latest figures from the U.S. Census show a significant decrease in commuters using transit in Washington, D.C. "Highway advocates are seizing the new census figures as proof that money spent on transit has failed to provide a strong return."
