Cassie Owens interviewed five "chief resilience officers," six months after the first such position was created in San Francisco, "to find out more about the parameters of their positions and the challenges they’re encountering so far."
The conversations between Owens and the CROs of the cities of San Francisco; Oakland; Norfolk; Porto Alegre, Brazil; and Medellín, Colombia, are grouped into categories like "Honing In on Specific Objectives," "Combining Datasets," "Engaging the Public," and "Being the 'Conduit.'"
