Last Minute Gift Ideas for the Plannerd in Your Life

Gifts made for planners may be hard to come by, but there are some finds for those who are looking to bring some holiday cheer to the “plannerd” in their lives.

Books, DVDs, and educational items make a gift list compiled by Los Angeles County planner Clement Lau, whose list was so popular last year, he opted to come up with more ideas for this giving season.

Lau’s list of potential gifts includes books on everything from the historic Los Angeles Union Station to sketching urban cityscapes. He suggests DVDs on topics ranging from light pollution to landscape architecture.

He goes on to list clothing and educational gift suggestions that he thinks planners would love.

“We have all heard the saying ‘it is better to give than to receive.’  I agree with these words of wisdom and believe that when we have the ability and capacity to give, we should do so.  Most plannerds probably would not mind receiving any of the above items.  And even s/he does not care for material things, most, if not all, plannerds would appreciate the thought and welcome some words of appreciation, encouragement, and support, especially during this time of year.”
