No city so thoroughly enjoyed the boom of the 1990s than Seattle...[But] today Seattleites can be accused of feeling a little less exuberant...the ensuing crash in the commercial airline-building business and the collapse of the region's vibrant "dot-com" economy have all undermined the fundamentals of what had been one of the most sizzling hot commercial and residential real estate economies in the nation...Yet despite these problems, Seattle, particularly its downtown, still looks to be a pretty good bet...
