Testing transportation in one of the nations fastest growing counties.
Clark County, Washington just released a major report on transportation concurrency. The report was prepared by a consulting team led by ECO Northwest and was paid for with a $380,000 FHA grant. The purpose of the project was to study the county transportation concurrency policies that are required under the state's Growth Management Act. Clark County is the fastest growing county in the state of Washington and in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area. The policies were tested in four land use scenarios: slow growth, shape growth, accommodate growth and stimulate growth. You can check out the report on our website.
