A new development that will "emphasize the urban setting" is on the way in Washington D.C. along a Capitol Riverfront with a lot of projects in the development pipeline.
"The Capitol Riverfront, already laden with new development, will soon welcome Half Street to the neighborhood," reports Tianna Mañón.
Half Street is a large-scale mixed-use project near Nationals Park developed by Jair Lynch Development Partners and MacFarlane Partners. As approved, the 463,910-square-foot development includes residential, retail, office, and hotel uses. Interestingly, the Zoning Commission gave the developers flexibility to abandon plans for an 80-room hotel included the development due to the large number of hotel rooms coming online in the area.
