For Business Insider, Skye Gould and Sarah Scmalbruch "rounded up some of the best public transport systems around the world, from Paris, France, to Seoul, South Korea," measuring them by the objective characteristics of services, miles of track, ridership, run times, and costs.

The chosen transit systems are then arranged into a infographic making it easy to compare between New York, Paris, London, Beijing, Tokyo, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Dubai, and Zurich.

In all, there's probably much that a well-versed transportation wonk doesn't know, but some international perspective is always important to represent in simple and straight forward ways.
