"New Jerseyans remain extremely concerned about overdevelopment and its effect on traffic and open space, but they are ambivalent about proposed solutions to tackle the problem...A Star-Ledger/Eagleton-Rutgers poll conducted this month found respondents reluctant to accept changes that could worsen the economy, threaten their own ability to move to a house in the country or impinge on the rights of property owners."
