Commercial marijuana operations to be restricted to industrial areas.

Over the past months Anchorage municipal officials have reviewed local rules for six areas of marijuana production, sales, consumption: licensing; land use; criminal law; public health and marijuana edibles; policies for city employees; and taxation. The local regulations are some of the first policies to be released since voters in Alaska approved a ballot measure legalizing marijuana last year.
Devin Kelly reports on some of the limitations set by the new regulations, including that commercial grow and manufacturing operations are to be limited to industrial areas, while retail sales would be limited to commercial areas.
