The City of Buffalo has made tremendous progress in redefining the role of downtown Buffalo in the Buffalo-Niagara region. Guided by the matra "Live, Work, and Play", city planners and local developers are working together to renew and reenergize a downtown community with a 24/7 critical mass. A formal mechanism is now in place to help transform many of the City's architectural gems, long obsolete for today's commerce, into vibrant living spaces.
