"The Port's proposal calls for placing the convention center near Columbia Street and the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad berm. On the other side of the berm, the Port has proposed building a 300- to 350-room convention center hotel on property that it owns, tearing down the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay in the process."
