Yet we are likely to become home to almost one million additional residents over the next 20 years... New Jersey's cities and older suburbs have large amounts of vacant or abandoned property, much of it formerly the site of factories and other industry. Many of these properties are heavily polluted, and extremely expensive to clean up."
