Friday Funny: Video Game Allows Players to Deface an Icon of Modernism

An online video game has the perfect remedy for anyone who hates modernism—and Le Corbusier more specifically.

Creating an 'absolute architectural masterpiece' is no mean feat, but that is what players of Le Petit Architecte are tasked with achieving. In the game, you play as an intern attempting to 'improve' Le Corbusier’s design for the Villa Savoye, situated just East of Paris in real life.

Theo Triantafyllidis, a student at UCLA, took to YouTube to demonstrate the game's capacity for humor. As you can watch in the video below, he piles junk high and deep onto the architectural icon. Triantafyllidis also created the game, which you can read more about at his website.
