"Having warned repeatedly that the $632 million renovation of Soldier Field would be a massive mistake by the lake, I cant say I disagree, even if professional courtesy prevents me from delivering a full-blown assessment until the project is done next year.But this much can be said about the disfiguration that has already been done: Soldier Field should and must be removed from the prestigious list of the nations most venerated historic landmarks."
