Pro-Growth Forces Win Most California Ballot Measures

It's a mixed bag, but slow-growthers lose in some surprising places, while a high-profile property rights measures loses.

In an election with a typical mix of results, the pro-growth side won 19 of 31 easily classifiable local land use ballot measures in California on November 5.in an election closely watched around the nation, Nevada County voters said no to a property rights initiative. Slow-growth advocates lost in some surprising places, including the Town of Windsor in Sonoma County and the Town of Tiburon in Marin County.
