"An ardent crusade to save the Defreest-Church House from demolition ended in dust Thursday when the 1838 Greek Revival brick building was reduced to rubble in less than 15 minutes.The Third Avenue site will yield 75 additional parking spaces for a Target retail store that developer John Nigro is building next door."
