A blueprint for building an integrated medical center on 100 acres in downtown Buffalo will help create a campus setting, according to a plan released by the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The plan was developed by Alex Krieger, an internationally recognized urban planner who chairs the Harvard University Department of Urban Planning and Design. The Plan and Strategy represents a shared vision fof future development in and around the Medical Campus. Implementation of the Plan has already begun with construction of Buffalo's Life Sciences Complex, which will add approximately 400,000 sf of state of the art research space to the Medical Campus. For more information on the new vision for the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, visit http://www.bnmc.org
